6 years ago today, Stafford Smith raced the Idaho® Potato Drop car at Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series. Instead of the normal oval shape, this track includes a twisting 12-turn track that is 2.52 miles in length and started in 1968. Sonoma Raceway has been the host to some of the best races in the world. “It is arguably the world’s busiest racing facility, with track activity scheduled an average of 340 days a year.
